Apple has released a new version of its popular Minecraft game that includes a new game mode, but it’s not quite as advanced as some of its competitors.
Minecraft: iPhone Edition, released Wednesday, has been available for download for a month now, but the new version comes with a number of new features, including a switch carrying, rocker switch and online multiplayer.
The new version features a new level editor called ‘Minecraft’ and lets players craft items and level up their creations, with the goal of making it easier to get a hold of the game for their friends and family.
The game can also now be downloaded directly from the App Store, and a link to it can be found in the game’s description.
Apple has said that the new edition of Minecraft has been designed specifically for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices, but we’re not sure whether that means the new game will work on other devices, including the iPad mini, or whether it will only work on iPhone and iPad.
A previous version of Minecraft for iOS also included a switch-carrying mode that lets players swap out their device’s back button for a controller, but that feature was removed after being reported to Apple.
Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Minecraft has become a popular game on iOS, and Apple has been selling it for years, with its iPad app having been downloaded more than 100 million times.
However, there have been reports of crashes on some devices, especially those that have been updated with the latest versions of iOS.
