In an effort to get Nintendo Switch owners into the game, we asked the guys at Polygon to show us how to replace an old Nintendo Switch with a new one.
They did so by using a custom-built charger.
We’ll be covering this in-depth when we get our hands on the Nintendo console, but in the meantime, here’s how to get the charger you need to charge your Switch.
We’ll cover that in our follow-up article.
To power the Nintendo switch, you’ll need to plug in your device and then connect your phone.
The phone can be connected to your PC using a USB cable or USB-C cable.
Then you plug the NintendoSwitch into the charging dock.
Once that’s done, plug the device into your PC and plug it back in.
Once that’s all done, just plug the Switch back into the Nintendoswitch.
We’re not recommending this method, but you could just use the USB-c cable and plug in the NintendoSwitches power cord.
We’ve seen some cases where this is a good way to plug devices in to the Switch without a separate charging cable.
Once plugged in, we’re all set to go.
If you get stuck and don’t see a charging dock, just keep plugging the Switch in.
If everything is working, you should see a notification that your Switch is charging.
We’re not saying this method is 100% safe or reliable, but it does give you a good idea of how to go about it.
If something doesn’t work right, we’ve got some tips and tricks we’d love to share with you.
If that’s not an option for you, you can always get the chargers for the Nintendo consoles we covered earlier from Amazon and eBay.
