The Nintendo Switch is getting a new name: Wind Wakers.
That’s a nod to Nintendo’s famous wind-powered console.
Nintendo’s Switch console will launch on Nov. 10.
It’s also getting a brand new logo.
The new Wind Wakes logo is a three-dimensional rendering of a stylized W and a D with two crossed blades, like a stylised waffle.
Nintendo is using a black background to show off the stylized logo, and it has a “snow” effect, too.
This is the first time the Switch has a new logo, which is a trademark.
The company already uses the trademark for Wind Waking, a series of fan-favorite games.
Nintendo Switch is a handheld system that can run games on the Nintendo 3DS or Wii U consoles.
It also comes with a controller.
Nintendo says it’s aiming to make the Switch portable enough to be a gaming device, not just a home console.
It’s also trying to make it so it’s easy to get the Switch and games and apps, rather than having to dig through multiple bundles.
The Switch is available on a wide variety of retailers, and the company says it plans to have “one of the largest and best online store and online-first e-commerce experiences ever.”
Nintendo is selling the Switch in Japan starting Nov. 7.
You can buy it for $249.99 on Nintendo’s eShop and $299.99 in the US.
It will also be available in other countries, such as China, South Korea, India and the Philippines.
