According to a poll conducted by the Italian Football Association (IFA) for the Italian Times, the vast majority of Italians don’t even know what Switch is.
The poll, which asked players whether they would prefer the Nintendo Switch or Nintendo 3DS console, was conducted by a company called TNS, which makes the Nintendo eShop.TNS is owned by Italian sports club AC Milan, who are also owned by Nintendo.
In the poll, 70 per cent of players said they would like to use Switch, with 25 per cent saying they would not.
The other 19 per cent said they did not know.
This is the second time in two years that the survey has been released.
Last year, the same poll was published, showing that only about a third of respondents were aware of Switch.
Tns is currently working on a new poll, and the survey will be published this weekend.
